Yellow Floral Tiered Dress
Hi friends! It’s been a couple of weeks since I’ve written and published a blog post. In my latest Instagram post, I shared that I took a break from blogging and social media to allow Black voices to be amplified, and to take some time to listen and educate myself on the deeply-rooted, systemic racism that is ongoing in our country. I’m committed to being a life-long learner and using my privilege for good by supporting various organizations that are doing the necessary work to end racism. I’m really excited to bring back regular content on my blog and to be a positive light in these dark and uncertain times.
It has been crazy hot this month, which is no surprise because that’s how summer in Arizona goes, so I’ve been reaching for pieces that are flowy and lightweight, specifically dresses. I love wearing dresses year round, but especially during the summer because they feel so effortless. It’s an easy outfit to throw on when it’s over 100 degrees outside and you just want to be as comfortable and cool as humanly possible. All of my shopping has been done exclusively online since March, and it’s allowed me to branch out and discover more online retailers. I’ve been finding more and more pieces at Revolve lately, like this tiered, floral dress, and I must say I really love their website! They have a well-curated assortment of brands, and since I’ve been gravitating towards more boho-style pieces lately, I feel like they have a great selection in that niche. Their shipping is crazy fast too! I’ve gotten most items within 2 days of placing the order—it’s awesome!
Freddy actually picked this dress out for me, which makes me love it even more! He has a great sense of style (I trained him well 😉) and sometimes he’ll randomly send me links during the day of dresses he thinks I would like—how cute is that?! I was a bit hesitant about this one at first, mainly because I don’t wear a lot of yellow, but I took a chance on it and I’m so glad I did! I love the flirty, feminine vibes this dress has and you all know I can’t resist a floral print. I think I should have Freddy do my shopping more often!
