ABOUT ME
Chantelle ballesteros
Hi friend, it’s so nice to meet you! I’m Chantelle; I’m 30 years old and I live in Scottsdale, Arizona with my husband, Freddy. I grew up here in Scottsdale and have grown to love the beauty of the desert as I’ve gotten older (Arizona sunsets are some of the best you can find!). I’m an only child and had a very close relationship with my parents growing up. My Dad sadly passed away in January 2020 after a 3-year battle with brain cancer, but he is still my greatest inspiration and my goal is to honor his life and legacy in all that I do! I love spending time with my mom (shopping, going to the movies, getting lunch - pretty much all the fun girly things!) and I’m so thankful we only live 15 minutes away from each other.
While I love dressing up and going out for a night on the town, I’m a homebody at heart and would much rather stay in on the weekends, curled up on the couch next to Freddy with a good book and some hot cocoa. We’ve been married for 7 years and don’t have any kids yet, but are excited to grow our family hopefully in the next few years! I’m the craziest cat lady who doesn’t own a cat that you’ll likely ever meet; my dream is to one day (hopefully very soon) own a fluffy, orange tabby kitten named Princess Rajah. I also love neutral colors, pasta, snoozing my alarm clock, and chocolate (in no particular order).
Thanks for stopping by my little corner of the internet; I’m so glad you’re here!
ABOUT THE BLOG
BLUSHFUL BELLE
My love for fashion started at a young age while watching What Not To Wear on TLC with my mom. I became so captivated by the makeovers that Stacy London and Clinton Kelly gave these men and women who were on the show. It amazed me how a new wardrobe and a hair/makeup refresh could completely transform someone and give them a confident, new outlook on life. It made me realize that style and the clothes we wear speak volumes without you having to say anything at all. Movies and TV shows continued to inspire my love of fashion, like The Devil Wears Prada, The Parent Trap, and The Hills.
I knew that I wanted a career in the fashion industry and after I graduated from high school, I moved to downtown LA to attend the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising. It was such an incredible experience that I’m so grateful for! Just 3 years after graduating I launched my blog, Blushful Belle, as an outlet for my creative musings that combined my passions of fashion, writing, and photography. My thesis statement for my portfolio of work that I created while at FIDM almost a decade ago still rings true to my vision and inspiration for my blog: Imagine, Create, Inspire. My goal is to dream up and create content that will inspire you in your daily life.
