Pink Summer Dress
When the temperatures start creeping up into the 100's here in Phoenix, that means only one thing...summer is here! And it's not going away anytime soon. That also means that time spent outside is very limited because it feels like you're baking inside a very large oven that is the Phoenix valley. With that being said, dressing for the summer heat can be a bit of a challenge, but thankfully I've learned some tips and tricks over the years!
Finding pieces in lightweight fabrics is definitely at the top of my list, because the last thing you want to wear is something polyester or acrylic which doesn't breathe at all. Dresses are my first choice when finding something to wear during the months of June-August because they are way more comfortable than trying to wear any sort of pants. When I found this easy tank dress (only $55!) I knew it would be the perfect summer dress!
The bright pink color is so fun and cheery and just makes me want to enjoy a backyard barbecue with some friends. I also usually only wear flip flops during summer, but thought that these Keds were too cute not to pair with the dress :) The pair I'm wearing is from the Rifle Paper Co. collection, which is relaunching on June 12th!
