Teal Lace Dress
I'm a girl that loves designer pieces, but the price tag is what usually keeps me away from them. That's why I love shopping at off-price retailers like Nordstrom Rack to see what deals I can find. When my husband and I were in Palm Springs a couple months ago shopping at Nordstrom Rack, I was amazed to find this designer dress at an amazing price that I couldn't pass up!
Sometimes it can be a hit or miss for me when I go to the Rack; I'll either find a whole lot of nothing that I like, or walk out with tons of bags in hand. This most recent trip was the latter and I was so amazed by all of the fabulous designer pieces I found there! There were items from Alexander Wang, Chloe, Stella McCartney and so many others. I felt like I was in shopper's heaven! The best part was stumbling upon this teal dress, which I had seen last season at a Nordstrom store but didn't want to pay full price for it. Like they say...good things come to those who wait! And this was definitely worth the wait...
I scored this dress which was originally $400 for under $30! Pretty much the deal of the century in my book ;) I wanted to do something a little different by pairing it with a contrasting pop of pink for my shoes (last seen here) and lip color.
Is there a designer piece you've been eyeing but haven't wanted to pull the trigger yet? Good things come to those who wait! Obviously there are certain items that just don't go on sale (the classics), but 99% of the time all of the seasonal merchandise a designer puts in a collection will go on sale at the end of that season! Some retailers like ShopStyle will allow you to put a sale alert on your favorite items so that you know when they'll go on sale. Otherwise, just keep watching them and hopefully your size and color preference will still be available when it gets marked down :) It's definitely worth the wait when you can save over $300 for a designer piece!
