Target Style: Striped Midi Dress

We made it to another weekend! Since I’ve been working from home for over a month now, the weeks seem to go by quicker and quicker when I’m spending them at home. It seems weird to say that, because I half expected to feel like the days were dragging on, but surprisingly enough, I blink and the weekend is back just like that! Trust me, I’m not complaining :) In my post earlier this week, you probably noticed that I was sporting another striped dress, which means you can safely (and correctly) assume that I love stripes! My love for them started a long time ago, and it’s a print that I am naturally drawn to time and time again. It only made sense that when I found two striped Target dresses online, rather than debate about which one to get, I got both :) I mean, why not when they’re both $16 or less?!

This sleeveless midi dress has me dreaming of summer days ahead. It can totally transition from poolside to a casual dinner out at your favorite restaurant. It will probably be awhile before those things are even doable, but a girl can dream! It’s super comfy and the loose-fitting bodice is perfect for Taco Tuesday when you’ve had one too many and need to hide your food baby! I also love that the small side slits make it easy to move around and be comfortable, whether you’re running to the grocery store to see if toilet paper is back in-stock or lounging on the couch binge-watching Tiger King. It comes in 10 colors and is on sale right now for $16! Even though I might not be able to wear it at the pool right now, putting it on for a Trader Joe’s or Target run makes me feel hopeful for better days ahead.
