Parisian Style Winter Outfit Inspo

I’ve been on a capsule wardrobe journey for the last couple of months and have been focusing on editing down my closet to classic pieces I can wear for years to come. Last year I chased trends a lot which honestly got really tiring! I found myself buying a bunch of random pieces that didn’t go with things I already owned and I only ended up wearing these items 1-2 times - such a waste right?! Even though I’m not focusing on “trends” per se, I still want to dress in a way that feels fresh and youthful (not frumpy, matronly, etc.) This outfit just might be one of my new favorites!

I became a HUGE fan of the Abercrombie ‘Sloane’ tailored pant last year (I bought 3 colors and wore them in London) and when I saw that they came out with a pair of shorts for spring I knew I had to have them! I got them in black (of course) and a beautiful cream color. I was too excited to wait for the weather to warm up to wear them so I thought why not throw on some tights?! I love the chic vibe of this black and white look! The shorts are so versatile and I think they’ll be a great transitional piece to wear now and into the spring. I can’t wait to show you the other ways I’ll style them in the coming weeks/months!
