Highlights From London Fashion Week 2023

And just like that I’m back with another fashion week post, this time recapping my favorite highlights from London! I was extra excited about this particular fashion week since Freddy and I will be in London exactly two months from now 😍 I still can’t believe it! Seeing all of these gorgeous collections from London-based designers is making even more anxious (in the best way) to visit this city! Keep scrolling to check out my favorite fall ready-to-wear collections.

Bora Aksu

One of the things I enjoy most about London Fashion Week is that I have an opportunity to discover new designers since there aren’t as many mainstream designers that I’m familiar with. I was so happy to discover Bora Aksu this time around because I loved all of the feminine details in their fall ‘23 collection! I really enjoyed the lace, ruffles, tulle, and other delicate fabrics seen throughout all of the pieces that came down the runway. I even loved the juxtaposition of outerwear mixed with more dainty lace and crochet fabrics as seen in the first and third images. I’m definitely adding this designer to my watchlist for upcoming fashion weeks and can’t wait to see what they create next!

Roksanda

Bold fuchsia and metallic tones are trending in a big way right now, so I was really excited to see that continue into Roksanda’s Fall ‘23 RTW collection. I loved the creative way that metallic details were woven throughout different fabrics and not so “in your face” as I’ve seen some other designers do. It felt very tasteful and chic 😍 I also was smitten with the gorgeous pink oversized blazer moment paired with the red trousers. I’m all about a pink and red combo so this look really spoke to me!

Erdem

Erdem is a designer that I always look forward to season after season. I love the drama that all of their collections exude and the attention to detail that is so exquisitely displayed in each garment. The floral brocade print and lavender ruffle dress were my favorite highlights in this collection; plus I love the dramatic ruffles and drapery seen throughout! I think this was hands-down my favorite designer show 🔥👏🏻

Burberry

I absolutely loved the moody vibes of the catwalk at the Burberry show. It was Daniel Lee’s debut as their new Creative Director, coming from Bottega Veneta previously. We didn’t see any trench coats which is the label’s signature item, but there was no shortage of bold colors and patterns, including their trademark plaid pattern. After seeing all of the bold pink hues across several designers’ collections, it’s evident that Pantone’s color of the year ‘Viva Magenta’ is going to be everywhere! I can’t wait to add this color to my wardrobe for spring, summer, and fall 💗
