Autumnal Brown: The Trending Color For Fall '22
If you’ve been craving chocolate more than ever this fall thanks to the color that seems to be EVERYWHERE right now…you’re not alone 😜🍫 Fall is my favorite season to dress for not only because of the luxurious fabrics and cozy things to wear, but mainly because of the gorgeous colors! Camel, cinnamon, latte, cream, pumpkin, chocolate…the list goes on and on. I’m so glad that this rich shade of brown is trending because it’s one of my favorite colors to wear this time of year. One of my friends sent me a belated birthday present last week and in my card she was naming off qualities she appreciates about me. One of them was “looks good in brown” and I laughed out loud 😂 She’s a redhead and brown just doesn’t quite suit her in the same way that it does for me lol but I got a kick out of it!
This fall I’ve shopped more than I have in previous years because I’ve just been so impressed with all the merchandise! All the shackets, sweaters, and coats I’ve seen have been so on point that I can’t resist. I’m already working on putting another Abercrombie order together (which has more gorgeous fall shades in it, including brown) 🙈 but in my most recent A&F order I got this asymmetrical knit sweater because 1) I’m obsessed with the color and 2) I thought the one shoulder long sleeve detail was so fun! When I first showed this top to my mom she said I should return it 😂 She wasn’t a big fan of the neckline, but one of my friends also bought this top and wanted an excuse to twin with her! Remember in high school it was a crime if you and your bestie showed up to school wearing the same top? I’m so glad times have changed 😉
I’m also glad that trends come back around too. Pink and brown has always been a favorite color combo of mine and I distinctly remember an A&F outfit I wore in middle school that I wore constantly: brown gaucho pants with a blush pink cami. That was my signature outfit for a period of time and I was so sad when I grew out of it 😅 Well, almost 2 decades later and I’m back with another pink & brown A&F look!
