A Trendy Lime Green Outfit For Summer

There are a few trends that I’m really leaning into this spring/summer like crop tops and matching sets, but I’m especially LOVING this gorgeous shade of key lime green! 💚 It’s such a fun, vibrant color that I don’t think I’ve worn since I was young, but it was calling out to me when I was browsing the Abercrombie app and I knew I had to try it. In my latest try-on haul vlog I’m showing you all of the pieces I ordered to build out my summer capsule wardrobe, but this set is by far my favorite thing that I got!

The color was the first thing that grabbed my attention with this off-the-shoulder top and midi skirt set, but I also thought each piece would be really versatile on it’s own and that I could create multiple outfits with them separately. In my vlog I show you a few outfit variations that you can wear with the top and skirt individually, because let’s face it, wearing a head-to-toe lime green outfit may not be for everyone (or you may not be in the mood to make such a statement!) The top can be worn with denim shorts and slides for a casual weekend look, or you can also put a denim jacket over it to play down the puffy sleeves. The skirt looks really cute with sneakers and a tank bodysuit for a look that’s comfy and chic! You can pair a denim jacket with the skirt as well, just make sure it hits right at the waistline to give you that hourglass shape 👏🏻

The cotton poplin fabric of this set is so lightweight and would be perfect for a tropical summer vacation on the beach. There’s so many ways you can style this set depending on the vibe or situation, but I really wanted to go all out and play up the colorful vibes for these photos, so I paired the set with my rainbow pumps and this adorable straw bag I bought in London. Did I mention the skirt has pockets too?! I never use pockets in dresses or skirts, but they just make me happy lol.
