How To Wear Gingham This Summer

July 4th might be over, but that doesn’t mean you can’t wear blue and white for the rest of the summer. 🤗 I love this classic color combo and even though I’m a neutrals girly, this navy and white gingham skirt feels like a very classic and neutral piece for my summer wardrobe. I bought it last year from Reformation and if you can believe it, this is the first time I’m wearing it! I’m one of those people who cuts the tags off the moment after I buy something. 😂 I always want to wear my new purchases immediately but with this skirt I was waiting for the right top to go with it, and I finally found it a year later! Patience is a virtue, right?

As soon as I saw this linen, corset-style top online I knew it would be the perfect piece to pair with this skirt! I love the puffy sleeves and lace detailing on the edges. Not to mention the fit on this top is incredible! I first tried it on with a pair of jeans when it arrived in the mail and also love how it looks with oversized, baggy denim. But as soon as I put on the gingham skirt it felt like a match made in outfit heaven! This outfit feels so summery to me and I love how it came together.

Gingham is an iconic print that just screams summer, so if you don’t have any in your closet I linked a few options on my LTK for you to check out. It could even be something small like a headband or silk scarf, but gingham is a subtle print that can pack a punch for your summer wardrobe. Let me know what you’d rate this outfit on a 1-10 in the comments! Xo
