Free People Neutral Floral Top

I’m getting more excited by the day knowing that spring is officially going to be here so soon! I’ve been showing my excitement through all the floral prints I’ve been wearing lately (see here and here). Granted, I wear florals year-round, but as we all know, florals for spring are groundbreaking 😉🌼 Nordstrom recently had a sale and I took advantage of it by adding a few new spring-ready pieces to my wardrobe. Every season I love cleaning and organizing my closet to make way for new items. I’ll either donate or sell pieces on Poshmark that I haven’t worn in awhile. I love using Poshmark as a way to make a little extra money and I love knowing my clothes are going to a new home!

Going through my closet also re-energizes me in some ways because it reminds me what styles I love at my core and also makes me think outside the box in terms of new trends I want to try. I’ve mentioned before that I’m a neutrals girl at heart, so when I reevaluate the pieces in my closet I notice I have a lot of creams, beiges, and grays, so then I’ll try to look for some fun colorful pieces to offset that and branch out a little more. I recently bought a gorgeous, colorful maxi dress that I’ll be sharing on the blog next week 😍 but when I saw this neutral, floral blouse I knew it would be a classic piece that could easily transition from spring to fall.

I was also so excited to bring out my trusted straw bag that I wore from March-September last year! I love the texture that straw adds to an outfit - it’s the perfect spring/summer accessory and I recently found a beautiful new one to add to my closet!
