A.L.C. Floral Blouse

Happy Valentine's Day! Today is one of my favorite days of the year, and I just love that festive feeling I get when it's finally here. Give me all the pinks, reds, hearts, and of course chocolate! I have so many fun memories as a kid making my Valentine's box and bringing it to class. I loved picking out which Valentine's I wanted to give to my friends (they were usually Disney themed, duh!) and eating yummy treats all day long. Even though I'll be at work today, I'm still planning on making it fun and taking part in the festivities...aka eating sweets all day long haha! I also just got this adorable, pink sweater that I'm wearing today & I can't wait to share it with you in an upcoming blog post!

When it comes to choosing between pink and red, my answer is definitely pink! When I was shopping at Nordstrom Rack last week I spotted this ALC silk tank (older style; similar here and here) that had subtle pink flowers dotted throughout AND a ruffle detail at the neckline...I couldn't resist! I didn't even have to try it on to know it was going to come home with me. ALC is one of those brands that I constantly gravitate to before I even see the label. I appreciate the attention to detail that goes into every single piece and the quality is impeccable. 

And the best part of finding this top was I already had the perfect earrings to pair with it! Freddy has given me 2 pairs of BaubleBar earrings as gifts and I literally get so much use out of them! Both of them are pink (of course) and they add just the right pop to an outfit, even if it's just simple like this one: a blouse and jeans. I've been eyeing some other styles, like this pair and this one, that I really want to get, and it helps when they're only about $30-$50 a pair!
