Black & White Parker Dress

I'm a strong believer in the phrase "if you look good, then you'll feel good." For example, whenever I'm feeling run down or if I'm fighting a cold, the only thing I want to do is stay at home and curl up in my sweats. While that's what I typically end up doing, I've noticed that if I try to go out and put myself together a little bit, I end up feeling better because I've actually tried to get ready and do something rather than wallow in my sickness. It's amazing what a boost of confidence we can get when we are wearing something that makes us feel good, and that's exactly how I feel in this dress!

I've had this Parker dress for a few years, and it is one of my best finds to date at Nordstrom Rack. I love how the length hits a couple of inches above my knee, and the flirty hemline provides the perfect amount of movement when I walk. You can never go wrong with classic black and white, so I know I'll be able to pull this dress out of my closet for various events for years to come. It's always a plus if you can find a dress that can transition from work to a nice dinner afterwards, so try to look for something that has an appropriate hem length (nothing above mid-thigh) and either has a sleeve or can be paired with a blazer or cardigan.

Since this dress is from several seasons ago, I'm linking a few other Parker dresses that are so cute this Spring and would be great for grabbing dinner with your girlfriends, or for date night with your special someone. I love this multi-color knit dress, and this off-the-shoulder option.

Happy Monday and have a great start to your week!

Blushfully,

Belle
