Lily Ruffle Hem Dress
Ever since I was a little girl, my mom has been growing rose bushes in her backyard in a variety of gorgeous colors. When they would start to bloom, I would help her decide which ones to cut and she would put them in a vase in my room for me to enjoy. I always felt so happy having fresh flowers around me, and that is something that will never change! Flowers make me so happy, and if having them in my home isn't enough, I might as well have them on my clothes too :)
You've heard me talk about my obsession with the Victoria Beckham x Target collection (here and here) over the past couple weeks, and this is yet another piece that had me swooning! As I was browsing the collection online before I went into the store, I fell in love with the elegance of this Calla Lily print. It's so sleek yet bold against the solid black background of the dress. The ruffle hem detail also makes it very flirty and feminine, which I can totally get behind! I wore this dress while Freddy and I were running around the city one day, but I absolutely plan to wear this more dressed up with heels and jewelry.
Dresses are one of my favorite things to wear because they are the easiest to throw on when you're in a hurry and still want to look put together. It doesn't get much better than a "one and done" situation to get you out the door and onto your next event!
