Jeans & Jimmy Choos

I recently invested in my first pair of Jimmy Choo's and I couldn't be happier with them! I had always "oohed and ahhed" over the designer's gorgeous styles that would come out each season, but when these bad boys went on sale I couldn't resist. The 'Lang' sandal is one of their most popular styles, especially among celebrities who strut in them down the red carpet. I definitely don't have any red carpet events in my future that I'm aware of (near or distant), however, I love that this style can be worn dressy or casually, like in today's featured look.

This color is called 'Moss', so it has an earthy green tone with a metallic heel. It makes for a great neutral that I love wearing with cream, grey and taupe hues. Despite the 4" heel height, these are surprisingly comfortable! I can wear them for 7-8 hours without dying to take them off. The dual ankle strap also offers great support and makes them easier to walk in. 

For this look I decided to go for something more casual and weekend appropriate. I opted for my favorite Akris Punto top (which is currently on sale!), and a pair of distressed denim. These shoes can definitely go dressy as well, but I love the idea of pairing elegance with a pair of jeans, because why not, right!?
